This project is an opportunity to stretch design basics muscles in graphic communication. Copyright-free typeface and images were sourced. Imagery is edited and type studies are performed to determine their capability to communicate a recurring calendar event in a memorable design display.   

Through exploration of typeface as imagery, words were used in more complex means beyond readability, void imagery and color. Type used is visually expressive and quickly leads the reader to the message.  

Imagery, one of the most effective means for communicating a message quickly, was used to tell a compelling story through simplified means.  Balance of color, shape and tone were edited and finely detailed in Adobe Photoshop.

This composition utilizes both typeface and imagery combination. Sound and motion are added to showcase a more advanced skill set.
